A hard blog...saying goodbye

There’s no easy way to tell people that your baby died. It’s painful no matter how you do it. We found out last Wednesday that God chose to take our third child home. At 11 ½ weeks pregnant, I lay down on the table in the doctor’s office and was told by the ultrasound tech that our child had “failed to thrive” about two weeks prior. He or she was measuring 9 weeks but had no heartbeat. It was clear that it was a baby…the head, hands, rump were very evident…it was a hard day. Though we never met this baby, we miss him/her deeply. We take comfort in knowing that God is good and that, for reasons we don’t know, He did not plan to give this child a longer life.

After two days of waiting, I miscarried at 3am Saturday morning. It was an emotional task but God saw me through and I am thankful that we can now heal and move on.

Noy and I thank you for all your prayers and support.

The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord!
